Meet the Leadership
Mahmoud Karein, founder of Kareins Consulting Engineers, is a seasoned engineer with over a decade of experience in the construction industry and is known for his "roll up your sleeves" attitude. Mahmoud has worked on a wide range of projects, from large-scale concrete structures to smaller residential buildings, serving as both project engineer and project manager. He is a licensed engineer in Washington and several other states, including California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Texas.
In addition to his industry experience, Mahmoud has made significant contributions to research, having worked as a research engineer at the Concrete Durability Research Center. His academic and practical research has focused on enhancing the performance and sustainability of concrete structures, pushing the boundaries of durability and innovation.
When Mahmoud is not focused on clients and projects, he spends time with his wife and son, exploring new trails, or playing volleyball.
